ᑕ❶ᑐ Premier League fantasy football tip: Which Arsenal players can you make an integral part of your squad?

You may remember last week I told you that I wouldn’t trade an Arsenal player for another in my team if it meant taking a four-run hit. Well, I changed my mind!

Statman Dave told us on this week’s Fantasy 606 podcast that Eddie Nketiah, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel would be your best Arsenal line although I’d be tempted to go for Martin Odegaard ahead of the Brazilian centre-back.

The risk of going with all 3 attacking strengths is putting all your eggs in one basket – if Arsenal go blank like they did against Everton last weekend, you end up with a paltry six points .

Include and defender as long as three picks are expected and there are no such impressive statements from Arsenal at the end of the season. Gabriel also provides the biggest butt threat among this backline.

It’s a tough call if, like me, you own Ben White, though. He’s started every Premier League game this season and just because Arsenal suffered a rare defeat last time out doesn’t automatically mean Mikel Arteta is going to make changes. However, White has serious competition for his place at Takehiro Tomiyasu, but Gabriel will always be one of the first names on the team sheet.

That’s why I say a four-run hit might be worth it in the long run if you think Gabriel is going to start more games.

As for the other Gabriel – Mr Martinelli – he got just 59 minutes in that defeat at Everton before being replaced by Leandro Trossard. Although I think he’s still Arsenal’s first choice on the left, Martinelli will play a problem fewer minutes than Martin Odegaard or Bukayo Saka from now on. So I think it’s a change definitely worth making if you’re a Martinelli owner. .

Arsenal aren’t the only side to be offered a double game in Week 25 – Liverpool, Everton and Wolves will also have two Premier League games in the same week, while Manchester United, Newcastle United, Brighton and Brentford none. have not, thanks to reports made to host the Carabao Cup final.

Despite Liverpool’s poor form, it’s worth seeing if you can easily fit Mohamed Salah or perhaps Darwin Nunez into your squad for these games against Crystal Palace and Wolves.

If you have Kevin de Bruyne or Bruno Fernandes, you don’t have to worry about anything fair between Salah. But if you own Harry Kane, it would require at least two transfers and it might not be worth it if you want to switch. then put it back.

Kane to Nunez is a direct striker swap, but also keep in mind that you’ll likely be captaining an Arsenal striker for this double matchweek, reducing the need to sign either other of the Liverpool pairs.

James Tarkowski should pay attention to Everton’s double in the season of match 25 – a game between home and Aston Villa and a trip to Arsenal. His header winner, clean sheet and 3 bonus points against the Gunners last weekend earned his owners a total of 15 points and he will clearly continue to be a threat on attacking set pieces. It also only costs 4.2 million euros.

Wolves appear to be having the toughest double gameweek, with games at Fulham and Liverpool, but they face Southampton and Bournemouth in their next two games, so someone like Max Kilman, Craig Dawson or Ruben Neves could be a Useful early replacement for one of the players that you may need to clear if they don’t have a game in gameweek 25.

Back to matchweek 23 and your choice of captain may well depend on how you think next Wednesday’s blockbuster Arsenal and Manchester City encounter will go. This weekend Arsenal host Brentford before that and City are at home to Aston Villa – so I’m sticking with Erling Haaland as captain for those two games, but Odegaard, Saka and Nketiah all have very strong claims for the armband.

Alisson automatically replaced Adrian, Kane for Williams and Martinelli for Rodrigo, giving a grand total of 77 points.
