The final day of the Icon League is still underway, but the top eight teams have already been decided. Next week they will fight in the play-ins for the six places for the final tournament in Zurich. Exactly what the format looks like is explained again here.
The starting position was clear: with a victory on their side, both teams would eliminate all doubts.
SC Bürgeramt did their job in a wild match and beat FC Berlin City 9:8 – the ticket for the play-ins was booked.
Shortly after, the Berlin Underdogs also followed suit. With a narrow 5:4 victory, they put everything straight and finally left DNA, One(Site notre blog d’information) and Buzz Club behind. The reigning DNA champions are therefore eliminated.
