Ignatius Ganago has lost his daughter, who died at the age of five, FC Nantes announced on Tuesday, which traveled to Turin on Thursday in the Europa League play-off without its Cameroonian international striker.

Ganago, who started on Sunday during Nantes’ victory against Lorient and who will be 24 on Thursday, the day of the FCNA match against Juventus, was trained in Cameroon and made his professional debut in Nice in 2017, before joining Lens in 2020 then Nantes in the summer of 2022.

The artesian club, which is to receive Nantes on Sunday in the league, announced « a strong tribute » to little Chloé at the Bollaert stadium.
