Successful UWCL revenge: Bayern dispatch Barcelona 3-1 at home

24,000 spectators saw FC Bayern take revenge against FC Barcelona at the Allianz Arena in Munich. If Barca triumphed 3-0 in the first leg, Bayern overturned the result this time and with the 3-1 win they took three important points to head into the quarter-finals. However, the team still have to play against Barcelona and Bayern, against whom the Portuguese have already lost in this UWCL round. Even 0-9 against Barça.

In Group C, Lyon clarified who had been the favorite against Zurich. The French swept away the Swiss guests 4-0. Even in the 94th, Lyon remained a goal threat and did better just before the final whistle. Zurich is eliminated, a place in the first two is no longer possible for the Swiss.

If Lyon hadn’t won, Arsenal would have reached the quarter-finals by beating Juventus 1-0 on Matchday 4. Vivianne Miedema scored after 15 minutes and announced the next three points for her side, who lead Group C with ten points.
