Moritz Broschinski leaves VFL Bochum and changes in Switzerland. The attacker was presented Tuesday at FC Basel and signed a contract until 2029. The master of 21 times pays around 2.5 million euros, including bonuses at the clubs of the second division, which Broschinski settled just outside the top 10 of VFL record outings.
Borussia Dortmund is part of the transfer, where the attacker was active in the second team from 2020 to 2023 before going to Bochum for 135,000 euros. There, he was held 76 times on the field and scored six goals and seven models. Meanwhile, he has screwed up his market value up to 3 million euros in the meantime, and he is currently estimated at 2 million euros.
« We have stressed that no player is for sale and that we must weigh the sporting value compared to the economic value for each potential transfer. Moritz Broschinski appeared in a good constitution and confirmed this impression at the start of the season. However, he has now consulted his last year of contract, a perspective on the economy.
Instead of the 2nd Bundesliga, Broschinski plays with Basel under the coach Ludovic Magnin International. The Swiss play their qualifying matches by qualifying for the Champions League at the end of August. The native Finsterwaldener is a number four center in the team next to Kevin Carlos, Albian Ajeti and Kaio Eduardo and will play on the side of the old Munich, among others. The other candidates would have been FC St. Gallen and Sturm Graz.
